Sometimes it is important to take a step or two back to make sure that you haven't overcomplicated things. In the church we are experts at making things much more complicated that they need to be. One of the basics of the Christian life is that we exist to serve God and others. Serving correctly means having the right attitude and perspective.

Just as natural as is it for a newborn baby to crave milk so that can grow there ought to be a craving of the believer to be nurished with the Word of God. God's will for his children is that they would continue to grow in maturity and put into practice the things they learn from Him through his Word. How is your spiritual growth? Before Jesus ascended to heaven he made sure his disciples understood the importance of them (and us) continuing to share the message of the Gospel so people could be connected with God. The pattern of the early church and the instruction in Scripture is that we must continue to connect with other believers so we can be strengthened in our walk with Christ. There are several challenges that get in the way of us maintaining those connections. Are you up for the challenge?
